Big Bear was a dream to work with over the course of the six months they were here working on our kitchen, bathroom and a spare bedroom remodels. Their team was fantastic throughout the majority of our projects; highly communicative, detail oriented, reasonable and looking out for our best interests as we tore apart and rebuilt our 100+ year old home. Our projects were by no mean smooth, easy, or problem-free, but Kirk, Travis and the rest of the Big Bear team made discovering setbacks easier to navigate and always provided multiple solutions to correct the situations at hand. Asbestos - check, hidden structural problems from previous owner's renovations - check, un-permitted work discoveries - check; we really had it all and they were helpful and informative partners at each and every pinch point. If there were ever complaints along the way, it was almost always a matter of issues with material choices or vendors, and I don't feel this is something BB should be held accountable for. In fact, in several instances, BB went the extra mile to try and resolve issues with vendors on our behalf. We will be working with them again, and have already referred them to several friends and family members.
Remodeling can be a daunting undertaking. We researched many companies, but after meeting with Rob Young, owner of Big Bear Remodeling, our search was over. Rob explained every step of our kitchen remodel and was available for all our questions and concerns (and yes, there were many!). The electrical, plumbing, finishing, and cabinetry workmanship was superb. When we decided to update our bathroom, it was a no brainer!! Big Bear Remodeling is highly recommended.
