Big Bear completed a custom kitchen in Rocky River, Ohio for our new clients who wanted to re-do their sizable kitchen to have a bold focal point. Their old cabinets were replaced with Fabuwood Onyx Cobblestone Cabinets and we installed new, Azul Nuovo Granite Countertops. We added new, Coretec Manila Oak Vinyl Floating Floors and Transitions, Kessebohmer LeMans Wide Blind Corner Cabinet Organizer in the base cabinet, a Swiss Madison Undermount Single Basin Sink and ZLine Built-In Microwave. A Prism Jade Glass Mosaic Tile range and exhaust backsplash added a major accent for the space and the Cyan Design Ariel Light Pendants add illumination and style to the space.

Demolition:
• Remove cabinets, countertops and kitchen fixtures
• Remove laminate flooring, baseboards and casing where damaged
Framing and Prep work:
• Frame kneewall for back of island
• Fill in and repair subfloor
• Install plywood to raise cabinets to same height as new vinyl floor
Rough HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing:
• Ran duct for new exhaust hood
• Run electrical lines for new microwave and exhaust hood locations
• Rework electrical for the garbage disposal to accommodate air switch
• Run electrical for additional outlets on backsplash and island
• Run electrical for under cabinet and interior cabinet lights
• Re-center pendant lights over island
• Update plumbing shut-off valves for sink and dishwasher
Finish work:
• Install cabinets and hardware

• Fabricate and install copper backsplash panels with corner and edge trim

• Drywall repair, prep, prime and paint walls and ceiling

• Install under cabinet and interior cabinet lighting
